Hi 2nd Grade Families! Help us show our appreciation to our amazing Prospect teachers & staff by helping stock their lounge with drinks, coffees, teas, snacks, fruit and treats. The teachers love it and are so grateful. Take a peek at this Sign-Up Genius to see the items and what still needs to be fulfilled.

Please drop off your items on Friday, January 19th at Prospect School. We will be collecting items on carts in the carline from 8:15-8:40. (Yes, we will still be there even in the bitter cold!!) Thank you so much for your support and generous contributions!

We are in the process of recruiting sponsors for our Prospect Elementary Benefit to be held Saturday, March 9th 2024 at the Butterfield Country Club.

This exciting event is Prospect School’s PREMIER fundraiser and we are hoping to have a record number of Prospect families/friends amongst our list of prominent sponsors!

BAM Theatre Enrichment!

💚CALLING ALL VKs AND DISNEY VILLAIN FANS 💜 We're thrilled to share that BAMtheatre will be back at Prospect School this spring, bringing an extra dose of After School Theatre Enrichment excitement!😈 This term, join us for a villainous good time where students will channel their wicked charms in “Rotten to the Core: Songs of a Disney Villain” featuring songs from the Descendants and other iconic villains. Mark your calendars - this class will be held on Thursdays after school beginning February 1st. BAM's comprehensive structure features a blend of captivating activities, games, and rehearsals, all culminating in a showcase on the final day for friends and family to enjoy. Students enjoyed their first ever "BOWLING BEE" by rolling balls, knocking down pins, earning letters and trying to see which team could spell the most spelling bee words!

Every child messes up, sometimes in ways that seem sure to wreck their futures: a bad report card, poor sportsmanship, underaged drinking. These are tough moments for parent and child alike, often complicated by the fear that the misstep is also an indictment of our parenting. But what each of these “fails” has in common for our kids is the precious silver lining of a chance for character building and developing more grit- if we help them process their mistakes well.
