Attention Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Families - Library Volunteer Sign-Up Information

Happy New Year! It's sign up time again to volunteer for your child's library class for the second half of the school year. As a reminder Kindergarten through 3rd Grade families will have the opportunity to volunteer for 25-30 minute time slots during your child's library time. This is a great way to help the library staff and spend time with your child. The main responsibilities are checking books in and out to students and shelving books.

**A Sign Up Genius for the second half of the school year will be sent to all classes Kindergarten - 3rd Grade on Friday, January 9th at 10:00 am. Listed below are the class library times for your reference**

Monday:
1st Grade Mrs, Johnson - 11:00-11:25
3rd Grade Mrs. Shramovich - 12:20-12:50
Kindergarten Mrs. Abitz - 2:00-2:30

Tuesday:
2nd Grade Mrs. Nolin - 10:50-11:20
2nd Grade Mrs. Mundt - 1:30-2:00
Kindergarten Mrs. Wheeler - 2:30-2:55

Wednesday:
2nd Grade Mrs. Segovia - 10:50-11:20
Kindergarten Mrs. Bergin - 2:30-2:55

Friday:
1st Grade Mrs. Kapotas - 11:00-11:25
3rd Grade Mrs. Palumbo - 2:30-3:00

And those who are interested in learning the sport. Prospect PTO is hosting a night of fun at The Warehouse Golf Club in Burr Ridge. There will be food, a wine tasting and some great raffle prizes, including rounds of golf at Chicago area country clubs, training sessions at the Warehouse, and other great prizes! Sign up via the QR code. Note, this is a parents-only event so make sure to book a sitter.

One World Night Showcase!

Theme: Fine Arts -- music, art, dance, literature (non-religious)

Join us for a celebration of cultures from around the world at Prospect’s One World Night! Enjoy a vibrant international fair by Prospect families, and explore our showcase highlighting music, dance, and art from around the globe.

This year we would like students to showcase singing, dancing, playing a traditional song/instrument, reading a poem, or displaying art from their country. The showcase item should be approximately 2-3 minutes in length.
