Charleston Wrap Fundraiser 2023

Check your child's back pack! The Charleston Wrap Fundraiser benefiting the Prospect PTO is underway and your packets were sent home on Friday!
All orders are done online and delivered directly to your home. Please use this link with instructions on how to register your student online. In order to guarantee delivery for the holidays we need to submit all orders by Friday, October 13th.

A Robot Invasion is Coming to Prospect!

We need some futristic families to building your own robot to display as a part of “The Wild Robot” Family Reading Night!
Think outside of the box and use legos, kits, posterboard, cardboard boxes or recycled goods - make it as big or as small as you like! No electronics or coding necessary.
All submissions should be delivered to school by Monday, October 16th and will be displayed in the foyer leading up to Family Reading Night on Thursday, October 19th. Email questions here: familyreadingnight@prospectschoolpto.org

The IMPOSSIBLE Shot!

Have your students come home and talked about The Impossible Shot?
In support of our building wide behavior incentives (the PAWS) we have something new in PE classes!
At the end of each class, we choose one student that has demonstrated their best Prospect P.R.I.D.E. and they have the opportunity to try their hand at the Impossible Shot.
If they make the shot they receive their very own mini trophy and their photo on our wall of fame! Good luck to all!
G.I.R.L.S. Club Begins Next Month!

Calling all 4th and 5th grade girls who would like to participate in the G.I.R.L.S. Club ~ Girls Inspired to be Real Leaders Club!
Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 18th after school in Room 107, Mrs. Turrentine's classroom.
Please fill out the permission slip and return it before the first meeting. G.I.R.L.S. Club will be meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Please help stock the Prospect Staff Lounge with drinks, snacks and treats! Take your pick from this wish list via Sign-Up Genius. We greatly appreciate any donations and the teachers and staff love it even more!
The Teacher Appreciation Commitee will be cordinating this effort with each grade level throughout the school year - first up, 5th graders!
Please drop off items on Friday, September 29th between 8am to 8:40am. We will be set up with carts to roll the items into school. Kindly, do not send any shipments to school or drop off items late.
