1st Grade Music Program - King Bidgood's in the Bathtub

4/13/2024 11:57 am

All 1st grade family and friends are invited to attend the 1st grade spring music program, “King Bidgood’s in the Bathtub.” The program will take place on Friday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the Prospect School Gym. Doors will open at 1:15 p.m.

Students will be transformed into royalty this day to help tell of King Bidgood’s plight. Students will be provided a paper crown to wear during the program. They are also invited to dress in a “royal” fashion. That could mean looking nice, wearing a princess dress, a king’s cape, etc. Please make sure that your student can still move easily and is comfortable in whatever they choose to wear. No hand-held items, please (i.e. swords, scepter, etc).

We look forward to seeing you April 19!

Student Leadership RMCH and May 9

4/12/2024 8:35 pm

Big thank you to all of our 4th and 5th grade student leaders (and their parents for accommodating) who filled every single ziplock available with snacks for the Ronald McDonald House, given to families caring for sick children. They demonstrated leadership by filling and labeling bags with efficiency, while showing tremendous will-power in not eating any of the munchies themselves.
Special thanks to Jenny Voight, Brittany Crooks, Kristin Conway, and our wonderful custodians for setting up this event.
We will be hosting one additional event on Thursday, May 9 (different from our typical Wednesday). Coach and Partner of Lakeshore Lacrosse Michelle Sebastian will talk leadership and leadership development with our student leaders. More details to come. Sign up now via this link
