PLEASE JOIN US FOR PROSPECT LIBRARY’S FALL BOOK FAIR
PARTNERING WITH ANDERSON'S BOOKFAIR COMPANY

A reading adventure awaits at our Fall Book Fair! It’s a great opportunity to discover new books, enjoy exciting stories, find early gifts for family and friends, and support our school library. A wide selection of books for all ages will be available, including fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, activity books, and more!

When:
Wednesday, October 21st from 8:25AM – 4:30PM
Thursday, October 22nd from 8:25AM – 3:30PM

Important Info:
-Students in Grades K thru 5th will visit the fair as a class at the times listed below. Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to join their child(ren) when they shop with their class! You are also welcome to send money with your child to shop during this time and our volunteers will help your child manage the purchasing process.
-We accept CASH (smaller bills appreciated) and all major CREDIT CARDS. Sorry no checks.
-Since most items at the book fair are priced at $xx.99 the total due will be rounded up to the nearest dollar when paying with cash.
-You can help our teachers build their class libraries too! Make sure to check out the Teacher Baskets to donate a book to your child(ren)’s classroom.

The Prospect Library directly benefits from a portion of all book fair sales. These proceeds help us add new titles to our collection and replace worn out favorites, ensuring our library continues to grow and inspire a love of reading.

You can check-in before arriving at the book fair and your badge will be waiting for you in the office. Can't wait to see you there!

The fundraiser will include the full HRI menu available for delivery, carryout, or dine-in at the Darien location. Be sure to place your order during the fundraiser dates to qualify.

Charleston Wrap Fundraiser 2026 - EXTENDED!

The Charleston Wrap Fundraiser benefiting the Prospect PTO will be extended for ONE MORE WEEK! The new deadline to order products in time for the holidays will be Friday, October 23rd. Hinsdale Humane Society Donation Drive

Just a friendly reminder to please bring donations for the Hinsdale Humane Society into school next week and leave them in Prospect’s front entrance in the designated collection boxes. The collection drive will end on Friday, October 30th.

We will be tracking which Prospect classrooms bring in the most donations in the K-2 and 3-5 grade brackets. The classrooms with the highest donation counts in K-2 and 3-5 will be revealed on Wednesday, November 4th in the morning announcements. The two winning classrooms will earn front row seats and an opportunity to read a welcome message at the Jasmine Warga author assemblies on Wednesday, November 4th.

Please help us to support rescue pets like Finnegan from The Unlikely Tale of Chase and Finnegan by Jasmine Warga!

One Book One School - Cheetahs / Dogs Art Installation

Please help us to welcome Jasmine Warga and celebrate her book The Unlikely Tale of Chase & Finnegan by making your own cheetah and/or dog to be displayed in the Prospect Library! We have already received so many amazing cheetahs and dogs!! Thank you to those artists, who’ve already brought things into the library.

We are looking for more students to color, draw or build their own cheetahs and/or dogs. You may color the cheetahs and/or dogs that were sent home on Friday, Oct. 2nd or print out your own (school appropriate) cheetahs and/or dogs to color. You may also draw or build a cheetah or dog from scratch using paper, legos, kits, poster board, cardboard boxes or recycled goods and make it as big or as small as you like!

All submissions should include your first and last name and your class (i.e. 5B) and should be delivered to the Prospect Library on or before Friday, October 30th. We will display them as soon as you deliver them.

10/16 Order Deadline: In order to have products delivered in time for the holidays, we need to submit the orders by Friday, October 16th.

All orders are done online and delivered directly to your homes. Please use this link with instructions on how to register your student online.
