Flowers for Prospect: Thank you!

Thank you to all the families and students who brought in flowers and donated vases to create bouquets for the Prospect classrooms!  We were blown away by the number of blooms we received, and we were able to make dozens of arrangements for our teachers and staff.

A big thank you to Angie Ehmke, Diane Crites, Parul Thukral, Jaime Weibel, Kiersten Tomson, Venous Shabahang and Abby Ferguson for using their creativity to help us deliver some beautiful bouquets!

Girls Inspiration Club Service Project/Fundraiser

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the Girls' Inspiration Club this year. A special acknowledgment goes to Cyntandra Hoover and Jennifer Teubel for their invaluable assistance with the service project and club activities.

This year, our club engaged in a rewarding project: We made homemade dog treats and sold them during Fine Arts Night. We are pleased to announce that we raised $260, which will be donated to the Hinsdale Humane Society on behalf of the Girls' Inspiration Club.

We will hold one final meeting as a club on Wednesday, May 21st, from 3:15 to 4:15 PM.

It has been a wonderful year, and we truly enjoyed spending time with all the 4th and 5th-grade girls involved in the Girls' Inspiration Club.

Prospect Prides

A huge thank you to the 5th Grade Girl Scout Troop and Diane Crites, Britt Crooks and Angie Ehmke for hosting an award-winning Parent Daughter Dance this weekend.  We appreciate all your hard work in hosting such a fun night for students and parents.

Mrs. Swanson and Mrs. Reinhardt thank all the K-3 parents who volunteered in the library this year! With over 13,000 books checked out, having volunteers assist with checking out and shelving is a tremendous help! We are also so thankful for our volunteer coordinator, Kerissa Ellenberger, for creating and managing the volunteer schedule!

A big thank you to Kiersten Tomson and Jaime Weibel and the entire Teacher Appreciation Committee for a fantastic week earlier this month.  They served Taco Grill on Cinco De Mayo and floral bouquets to each classroom, Cutie Juice brought in healthy drinks, families helped Stock the Lounge, Alaina Kaczmarski donated planners and calendars from The Everygirl and Village Gourmet served lunch on Friday.  We also celebrated Ms. Jeannette, our Prospect Crossing Guard!  Thank you again to everyone's help and support throughout the year!
