Book Fair This Week!
10/14/2023 11:02 am
COME SHOP PROSPECT LIBRARY’S FALL BOOK FAIR!
This Thursday and Friday, 8:20am-3:30pm
Thursday evening, 6-8pm
Anderson’s Book Fair Company is bringing new and exciting titles right to our school library. Get some holiday shopping done, grab a gift for someone with an upcoming birthday, and don’t forget to help our teachers grow their classroom library. Please consider purchasing a book from the *Teacher Bins* to make it happen!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Kindergarten Parents are welcome to shop during Book Fair hours; your child(ren) is welcome to shop with you before or after school.
Students in Grades 1-5 will visit the fair as a class at the times listed below. You are welcome to send money with your child to shop during this time; we will help your child manage the purchasing process. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join their child(ren) when they shop with their class!
We accept CASH, CHECK (made payable to Anderson's Book Fair Company) and all major credit cards.
A portion of all Book Fair sales directly benefit the Prospect Library. Mrs. Swanson uses these proceeds to purchase new and exciting titles and replace “well-loved” books, building an even better library to foster our children’s growing minds!

The Parent List contains first-hand insight from D86, D181 and D63 parents about area providers that have helped address their child’s anxiety; depression; school avoidance; eating disorders; insomnia; peer relations; grief; stress; ADD/ADHD; autism spectrum and more.
The Parent List is comprised of helpful resources in our community that have already been used by a parent experiencing similar concerns to you. Doctors, therapists, support groups, inpatient and outpatient programs, tutors, nutritionists, books and holistic medical approaches may all be reviewed on The Parent List.

Pennies for Penn
10/14/2023 10:31 am
As Prospect students get ready for the fun of the fall book fair on October 19th and 20th, they will have the opportunity to try to win a new book and a Prospect Paw while helping students from our sister school, William Penn Elementary at the same time!
Students should have brought home a plastic bag with a “raffle ticket” attached this weekend. To participate, complete the “raffle ticket” and start filling the bag with loose change!
Students should bring their bag and raffle ticket with them when they visit the book fair with their class. Your child will be entered into a drawing to win one of five new books. The drawing will take place on Friday, October 20th.
All loose change will be used to support our sister school outreach activities - thank you for your help!
