Room and Yearbook Parent Sign Up

Being a room parent or yearbook parent is a great way to visit your child's classroom.

Room parents are responsible for planning and attending the classroom parties (Halloween and Holiday) and sending communications to the other parents.

Yearbook parents should plan to attend the classroom parties to get pictures for the yearbook and to design a class page.

In order to give as many people an opportunity as possible to get into the classroom, please indicate your interest in this form by Wednesday, September 4th.

If you have multiple children and would be open to volunteering for either, it is OK to fill out the form multiple times.

There will be a meeting on Monday, September 9th at 8:30 a.m. at the Prospect Pavilion to go over responsibilities.

Last Chance to Sign Up for Hot Lunch!

The Hot lunch signup will close on September 3rd. This is your last chance to sign up, so get your orders in if you are interested!

The Hot Lunch Committee is offering WEEKLY lunches this year.

We will offer the option of chicken tenders or buttered noodles once a month on Wednesdays, Culver's burgers once a month on Wednesdays, and Home Run Inn pizza will be offered twice a month on Fridays. Parents can also sign up for an extra pizza slice on Fridays.

Parents can sign up now in Membership Toolkit on your Family Account Page. All ingredients are listed on the signup.

Volunteers Needed for Vision & Hearing Screening Day

Mrs. Richardson needs some helpers for Vision and Hearing Screening Day.

The grades screened are K - 3rd, with a few students pulled from 4th and 5th grade.

Duties include: getting kids from the classroom, making sure they stay quiet while waiting for testing, and possibly giving instructions using Mrs. Richardson's example sheets. Sign up here!

Calling All Wildcats and High School Musical Fans!

Get ready to join BAM Theatre at Prospect School this fall, where we're bringing the magic of the stage to your after-school routine! This term, unleash your inner star in "We're All in This Together: Hits of High School Musical," featuring all your favorite songs from the iconic movie series. Save the date - classes kick off on Thursdays starting September 19.

BAM's comprehensive structure features a blend of captivating activities, games, and rehearsals, all culminating in a showcase on the final day for friends and family to enjoy. Secure your spot pronto—availability is limited, and this class is known to fill up fast!

Classes will run Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. beginning Thursday, September 19th and ending with a final performance on Thursday, December 5th. There will be no class 10/31 or 11/28.

Golf at Prospect

Elementary Golf School is offering an exciting junior golf program at Prospect School, designed to expose golf to juniors of all ability levels. This program is created and taught by PGA Professionals, to include lesson plans that are fun, safe, and educational. Kids will be given the opportunity to experiment with playing a variety of different shots. Our program teaches basic fundamentals, with plenty of variation for practicing and playing. We will not only teach the shots, but also the etiquette, behavior and finer points of the rules of the game. Our instructors will be able to adjust the level of complexity to each child’s individual level of progress.

Classes will be held on Mondays 3:05-4:15 p.m. from 9/16 - 12/16. There will be no class on 10/14, 11/4, 11/25. To register for the after-school golf program at Prospect School, please visit www.elementarygolfschool.com.
