Holiday Bazaar December 9th!

11/30/2023 10:51 pm

The Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 9th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gym/MPR. The Holiday Bazaar is a unique event where students can shop for holiday gifts for loved ones, including furry friends. You won’t want to miss it!

Additionally, there will be a few additional tables to visit while the children shop:

- The Sister School Committee is hosting a drive for William Penn School, and they need crayons, colored pencils, wipes, Kleenex, and used books in good condition. Specifically, they need picture books and easy readers. Also, any books about Superheroes, Barbie, My Little Pony, Lego, Roblox, Fortnite, Weird but True, Guinness books, and graphic novels such as Dog Man, Captain Underpants, and Bad Kitty.

- The Spirit Wear Committee will have two tables of great Prospect gear, so be sure to stop by!

- Clarendon Hills Infant Welfare will be selling luminaria kits. Each kit is $6 and contains 5 bags and 5 candles. This is a long-standing tradition in Clarendon Hills; even airline pilots have reported they could see Clarendon Hills glowing from above.

-It has been a long tradition at Prospect School to collect toys for the Pediatric Cardiology and Oncology Departments at Hope Children's Hospital. There will be a table to drop off NEW UNOPENED toys and gift cards to Target or Amazon. Thank you for your generosity!

We can't wait to see you there!

Golf at Prospect!

11/30/2023 10:43 pm

Elementary Golf School is offering an exciting junior golf program at Prospect School, designed to expose golf to juniors of all ability levels. This program is created and taught by PGA Professionals, to include lesson plans that are fun, safe, and educational. Youngsters will be given the opportunity to experiment with playing a variety of different shots. Our program teaches basic fundamentals, with plenty of variation for practicing and playing. We will not only teach the shots but also the etiquette, behavior, and finer points of the rules of the game. Our instructors will be able to adjust the level of complexity to each child’s individual level of progress. Check out this flyer for more information.

For more information, or to register for the after-school golf program at Prospect School, please visit www.elementarygolfschool.com or call (630) 853-6348.

One More Chance to Sign Up for Pasta Hot Lunch

11/30/2023 10:38 pm

The Hot Lunch Committee has worked with Home Run Inn to change up the pasta hot lunch option. Pasta will now served as buttered noodles with parmesan cheese and sauce on the side, so the kids can build their pasta how they like it. For that reason, we wanted to reopen the signup. The signup will be open from 12/3-12/12.

There are 6 pasta lunches left for the year, so the cost would be $40.50. Please find the signup on the PTO website.
