This year’s PTO needs help co-chairing the Assemblies Committee. Looking for parent(s) to co-chair this year’s Assemblies committee!

Volunteers will work with the school staff to bring assemblies to Prospect which could entail booking school requested events as well as researching and bringing assembly ideas to the staff. Work with a friend or meet someone new and directly impact what your kids are experiencing during assemblies!

The assemblies are exciting and special time for the kids. It’s a great way to help out! Sign-up here via sign-up genius. Any questions email: president@prospectschoolpto.org.

Have you seen some of the beautiful back to school banners in the hallways of Prospect? They were created by Mrs. Gretchen Kotleba as part of our field day last spring! This is the second year in a row she has created the templates for the students to color. Special thanks also to Mrs. Andrlik for filling in her work in hanging all the artwork and getting our school ready to welcome students back!

Prospect Bike Rodeo

8/10/2024 6:33 pm

Calling all 3rd- 5th graders to the Prospect Bike Rodeo!

WHEN: Sunday, August 18th from 11:00am – 1:00pm

WHERE: Prospect School Blacktop (Basketball Court)

The Bike Rodeo is a fun rite of passage event for our 3rd – 5th graders who would like to receive a “license” to ride their bike to school. Prospect works with a local bike shop, the Clarendon Hills Police Department, and parent volunteers to create stations where the kids receive a safety check for their bike and helmet, ride through a bicycling safety course, and finally get their bike registered with the school and the Clarendon Hills Police Department. We hope to see you there!

Requirements to Participate in the Bike Rodeo:
• An adult to accompany, supervise, and complete registration forms
• A bike helmet that fits properly
• A bike in good condition with filled tires

Frequently Asked Questions:
• If you can’t make this date, visit the CH police to register your bike
• Bike locks are not required at this event
• 4th and 5th graders with new bikes DO NOT need to do the Bike Rodeo again. Just take the new bike to the CH police department to be engraved

Volunteers Needed:
We need a few extra hands at the event. To volunteer, please use the Sign Up Genius.
